From April 18 to 20, representatives of Teensmart International had the honor of participating in the XC 4240 District Conference “Peace through Service” hosted by Rotary International in Puntarenas, Costa Rica. This event served as a platform for sharing insights, knowledge, alliances, and experiences from various social projects across El Salvador, Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States.
During the conference, Adriana Gómez, our Executive Director, and Ana Esquivel, Communication Coordinator, delivered presentations on TeenSmart and its platform, www.jovensalud.net, fostering stronger ties and collaboration between our organizations.
The inauguration at El Anfiteatro de Villa was a spectacular event that left all attendees amazed. With exciting performances, inspiring speeches, a fashion show, and an atmosphere full of energy, it marked the beginning of an unforgettable experience for all participants.
During the conference, we signed a Twinning Charter with the Rotary Club of Aguascalientes (District 4110), committing to provide mutual support and strengthen collaboration to enhance the development of young people and their communities. We are excited about this alliance and look forward to working together!
We express our gratitude to District 4240 of the Rotary Club and its Governor, Mr. Enrique Zamora Llanes, for the “Paul Harris” recognition awarded to Teensmart during the conference. We congratulate the Governor and his team for their excellent work.
