Strategic Partners

“There is strength in unity.”

This is one of TeenSmart’s well-loved phrases and describes the ethos behind the JovenSalud Alliance. This public-private model was founded in 2010 to provide sustainability to the JovenSalud.net virtual platform for youth.

The JovenSalud Alliance is made up of five different types of partners, who are all committed to make JovenSalud accessible to all youth.

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT AND CO-DESIGN

Youth are our most important partners. During a teen’s journey through JovenSalud, they give us continuous feedback and may also participate in our Youth Council, focus groups with our staff, or one of dozens of TeenSmart clubs across Central America. By engaging teens through an interactive platform built for them, TeenSmart enables teens to be agents of change in their lives.
